10-03-07 - Hi all. Just a little news to share. We have new publication dates for the 1st 3 books in my new BLACK OPS., Inc. series. SHOW NO MERCY - October, 2008. TAKE NO PRISONERS - November, 2008. WHISPER NO LIES - January 2009. So, as you can see, we've stepped up the release dates so we can get the books in your hands sooner. I'm jazzed. Hope you are too. Hugs all around. Cindy

8-25-07 AND THE WINNING BIDDER IS .... Ann Tompkins of Iowa City, Iowa won the bidding in a charity fund raiser to have her name appear as a character in one of my upcoming novels. Ann's winning bid was a whooping $950.00!!! Way to go Ann. The charity event, sponsored by Pathways Adult Day Health Center, raised $30,000 the proceeds of which will benefit local recipients, support Pathway programs and Pilot Club grants to non-profit organizations, especially those with an emphasis on brain injury and/or brain damage. So YEA!!! for Ann and all of those who contributed so generously.

8-17-07 Hey guys. I promised I'd share news as I have it so here goes. I'm thrilled that RESCUE ME, a three book anthology written by Cherry Adair, Lora Leigh and ME :o) will be available in July 2008 from St. Martins Press. I know. I know. That's a long way off but the good news is that the anthology promises to be one heck of a ride - all rescue stories all set in super steamy locations. Cherry's takes place in a tropical jungle, Lora's in a hot urban setting and mine is set in the Grand Canyon with lots of desert and romantic heat. It's going to be a great anthology but, hey you know that with Cherry and Lora heading the charge, it can't be anything but fabulous!!

I also have titles and tentative publication dates for my Black Ops., Inc. series that I'm currently writing for Pocket Books. Ready? Book 1: SHOW NO MERCY (Gabe and Jenna's Story). Book 2: TAKE NO PRISONERS (Sam's story), and Book 3: WHISPER NO LIES (Johnny's story) What do you think? Do you like those titles? As for publication dates, again, sorry but it will most likely be November 2008 before MERCY is released. The good news is, PRISONERS & LIES will follow very closely as the books will be released every other month. So, have patience. I'm writing as fast as I can :o)

As soon as I get the 'okay' I'll post an excerpt from SHOW NO MERCY so you can get a feel for what Gabe and Jenna will be up against - well, besides butting heads with each other, that is. Oh, those two. They do like to give each other grief. :o)

7-17-07 Hey everyone. Summer is upon us with a vengeance! Hope you're all enjoying the super hot weather!! Wanted you to know that my guestbook has been on the fritz for the past few days so if you made an entry between approx 7-10 and 7-16 I'm afraid it got lost in cyber space somewhere. It's all fixed now so do try again and I'm sorry for the problem.

So many of you who have already read INTO THE DARK have been writing and asking what's next. Are the Bodyguards over? Are Gabe and Jenna going to get their story? What about Sam Lang and Johnny Duane Reed? First off - THANK YOU all for your enthusiasm and your interest and for loving DARK and my EDEN crew. So, here's the scoop as I know it today. I'm working on the first book of a new series tentatively titled: Black Ops., Inc. The first book is Gabe and Jenna's story. So, now you all know. Sam and Johnny's books will follow. And will we see any of the EDEN crew again? You just never know when or where they might show up. So keep checking my website. As I have news, I'll share, okay? OK. Happy Reading .... Cindy

6-07-07 And there's more!!! INTO THE DARK hit #11 on Publisher's Weekly Paperback Fiction Best Seller list and #61 on the USA Today best seller list which includes hardcover and nonfiction. So THANK YOU all again for buying this book. It's really ... well ... WOW!!! 6-06-07 - OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH, OH MY GOSH!!! YOU DID IT!!! You put INTO THE DARK on the THE NEW YORK TIMES EXTENDED BESTSELLER LIST AT #27. Thank you all soooo much for rushing out to buy DARK and making this happen. I'm so happy I don't even know what else to say. Cindy

6-2-07 - You guys are amazing. I've been getting reader mail by the buckets so I know you're out there buying both the reissues of the 1st 4 bodyguard books and the new book INTO THE DARK. THANK YOU! 5-31-07. Know what? I've had a good year. My sources tell me that INTO THE DARK is selling like hot cakes. UNDER THE WIRE is not only a RITA finalist but has also made the finals of the DAPHNE DU MAURIER Award of Excellence contest AND I just recently received word that OVER THE LINE is a BOOK SELLERS BEST finalist. Gotta tell ya, I'm one happy girl.

4-2-07 Woo Woo!!! Under the Wire is a 2007 RITA finalist. I'm thrilled and shocked and happy, happy, happy!

3-15-07 Good news: To The Brink is a RIO (Reviewers International Organization)Award of Excellence nominee for best romantic suspense 2006. I'm very excited about getting that nod. Means a lot.

1-15-07 It was just announced that TO THE BRINK is a Romantic Times Reviewers Choice Nominee for best Romantic suspense/intrigue for 2006. How cool is that? Several of my blogging buddies at riding with the top down made the list too so we're all jazzed! Have a good one!!

12-5-06 Yowser! UNDER THE WIRE hit #6 on the Waldenbooks romance bestseller list. Thanks guys! This is too, too cool. Make sure you check out my photo page while you're here and view the shots of me, well, shooting :o) I had the good luck to go target shooting with expert Joe Collins and fired all kinds of amazing weapons. GREAT research day for my Bodyguard books!!

6-12-06 Woo Woo! OVER THE LINE hit the USA Today Bestseller list last week - all thanks to YOU who went out and bought this book. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I've been flying high all week.

1-10-06 Thanks to you, TO THE BRINK hit #9 on the Waldenbook romance bestseller list and #14 on the Barnes and Noble Romance bestseller list. Wow!! Thanks so much for buying this book - and for all the e-mails you've been sending. I LOVE it that you are loving my BODYGUARDS.

11-14-05 Borders Books just announced that TO THE EDGE is one of their top 24 romances for 2005. How great is that??? Thanks to all of you who bought the book!

9-8-05 - Wonderful news! TO THE LIMIT made the USA Today Bestseller list on the first week of sales!!! Thanks to all of you who rushed out and bought this book!! I'm so grateful. And many, many thanks to all of you who have written to me expressing how much you are enjoying my Bodyguard series.
